Course Participation Policy

Effective June 1, 2016

All students are required to participate in their online class to remain enrolled in the course. Participation requires active engagement in the HCC Online/Moodle course area and is measured by submitting assignments, taking quizzes and exams, completing online activities, simulations, and labs, participating in online discussion boards, and communicating with the instructor.

Instructors will identify any student who is not actively participating in the course.

Census dates will be:

Any student failing to participate in the course by the posted census date will be administratively dropped. The student will not receive a refund. Financial aid will be adjusted and repayment by student required if funds have already been disbursed.
