It is truly an amazing feeling helping someone achieve their goals and I hope to help you along your journey.

Online Advisor - Dina Metellus

Hello all! My name is Dina Metellus, and I’m one of the student advisors here at CU. I’ll be working with you until graduation and your main point of contact through your academic journey. As your advisor, I am available for any questions regarding your program and your courses. Please do not hesitate to ask questions, as I am here to support you.

During my college years, I worked full-time as an Assistant Manager at a clothing store in order to pay off my college tuition. There has been plenty of times where I struggled with time management and found myself waking up at 4 in the morning to get a paper turned in. But working in sales, I found myself constantly helping people and building relationships; I knew this was something that I enjoyed doing. Shortly after, I received my bachelor’s degree in Psychology at the University of South Florida. I am very determined to help students get to their next achievement in life.

Education is something no one can take from you! So, I look forward to working with you and seeing you at the finish line!

Online Advisor - Chasity Robinson

Hello! My name is Chasity Robinson, and I am your academic advisor. I am here to help you throughout the term, answering any questions that I can and connecting you with all the resources that Campbellsville University has to offer. I encourage you to contact me with any questions, concerns, or issues, and I will always be happy to listen and help.

I am originally from eastern Ky and graduated with a Bachelors in Middle Grades Education with an emphasis in Science and Social Studies. After college, I worked for Fayette Co Public Schools then moved back to Eastern Kentucky to work with at-risk teens. I feel a strong calling to help those in need. In my spare time I love to work on various crafts, travel, cook, and I can’t resist a good Netflix binge.

One of the most valuable things that I gained from my experiences in college was how crucial a good time management plan is. I worked full-time and took a full-time course load throughout my entire college experience. While it was a lot to juggle, it got a lot more manageable (and more successful) once I adopted a good time management plan. I understand the balancing act, and I know how good it’s going to feel when you finish! I’m here to coach, support, and cheer you till you get to the end of your program.

Online Advisor - Courtney Schmidt

Hello! My name is Courtney Schmidt-Abraham. As your online Student Advisor I’m here to help you with any questions, issues, or concerns you might have during your academic journey. Please don’t hesitate to reach out to me; I’m always happy to listen and help find the best solution.

I’m from Albuquerque, NM and graduated from NMSU with a Bachelors in rhetoric and analysis. After serving with Peace Corps in Ecuador, I returned to the states and got my Masters in Creative Writing. I’ve been a Yoga teacher, Reproductive Education teacher, English teacher, Barista, Writing tutor, and Editor. I’ve done a lot of different things. But every job I’ve held, though varied, has one thing in common; connecting people to something they need. That is why I like to come alongside students as their advisor; I get to connect students to what they need to be successful in one of the most important things someone can invest in---their education.

When I’m not working you’ll find me training jiu jitsu, rock climbing with my husband, practicing yoga, or hanging with my dog.

I am originally from St. Louis and attended Murray State University in Murray, Kentucky, where I got a BFA in Creative Writing. I worked for a marketing company for a few years after that, then made the switch to the world of higher ed, where I’ve been working in one capacity or another ever since. My favorite part of my job is being able to help my students achieve their dreams in whatever small ways I can.

When I’m not working, I’m usually reading or writing, binge-watching YouTube videos, or playing with my cat, Riddle. I enjoy traveling and discovering new places, and learning new things.
